The Lawfield neighbourhood has many outstanding amenities and is a great location to raise a family. The majority of the homes in this area were built built between 1961-1980 and include mostly single detached and semi-detached single family homes. The average age of people living in this neighbourhood is 30-44 years old. According to the census, 38% of the households in this neighbourhood are families with children.
Upper Gage Avenue is one of the mountain roads with direct access to the Lincoln Alexander Parkway, making travel very convenient for residents in this area.

Lawfield Elementary School is located at 45 Berko Avenue, which offers both English and French Immersion streams to the community.

Lawfield Park located at 150 Folkestone Avenue, has a tennis court, a multi-purpose court, an accessible play structure, swings, spring toys, a spray pad, soccer field, walking track, parking and paved lit walkways.
