Changes are being made to Gage Park. The Fountain is getting a facelift. It’s peeling, in need of some TLC and currently enclosed by fencing.
As noted in the above photo, Eugenia Gage (remember she lived in the Hamilton Children’s Museum) commissioned the fountain in honour of her parents. If any of the photos are too hard to read, you can click on them to make them a bit larger.
Time for another historical plaque! Are you learning as much about Hamilton as I am from these plaques? I hope that this is inspiring people to have a look around the city and check out some places that they’ve never been. Or perhaps somewhere you haven’t been in a while? Enjoy!
