
In the Glanbrook area, you will encounter some of the most beautiful combinations of urban amenities and rural charm. This description also applies to the small town of Binbrook.
In the past 10 years, there has been an abundance of new construction here. According to the Canadian Census, the town increased from a population of 4926 in 2011 to a size of 8794 people in 2016. We can see that Binbrook has continued to grow and prosper into an extremely vibrant community since then.

The median age of people living in this community is 33 years old. According to the census, 85% of the households in this neighbourhood are families with children.

2 elementary schools are located in Binbrook: Bellmoore Elementary School and St. Matthew Catholic Elementary School. Michaelle Jean is located on HWY #56 for French Immersion students. High schools are located within a 15 minute drive. When I have clients considering the purchase of a home in Binbrook, I often will tell them to have a drive around the area. This is a great opportunity to check out some of the parks, including Fairground Community Park, Southbrook Park, Binbrook Park and Laidman Park. The playground equipment is modern and up to date.






For sports enthusiasts, Binbrook is home to the Glanbrook Sports Complex and Glanbrook Arena. 12 soccer fields, 2 baseball diamonds, and a playground. Freshco grocery store, a Shopper’s Drug Mart, TD Canada Trust, library, LCBO, Tim Hortons, a number of restaurants and pizza joints, food markets and the list is growing regularly.





Surrounding Area
Binbrook is surrounded by many rural farms, and just to its south lies the Southbrook Golf and Country Club. The Binbrook Conservation Area on Lake Niapenco is ideal for swimming, hiking, boating and fishing. Lake Niapenco reservoir is the largest inland lake in the Niagara Watershed.
Well known as a “hot spot” for fishing, Binbrook Conservation Area plays host to annual fishing derbies. Facilities that can be found in the Conservation Area include a swimming beach, children’s splash pad, picnic facilities, nature trails, observation platforms and a play area. It resembles cottage country, and the impressive part is, it’s close to home!
