The Barnstown Neighbourhood is sometimes referred to as the Wellington Chase neighbourhood. This area is located on the Central Mountain in Hamilton between Stone Church Road East and Rymal Road East, and also between Upper Wellington Street and Upper Wentworth Street.
The majority of the homes in this area were built between 1991-2000, and are primarily single family detached homes. This is a very popular area for families. The proximity to elementary schools is extremely attractive.

The Village of Wentworth Heights is located on the corner of Upper Wellington and Rymal Road. I recently discovered that there is a restaurant (open to the public) located on the 10th floor of The Villages of Wentworth Heights. You can take in the view overlooking the growing city of Hamilton for a truly unique dining experience. The Ruby is open to both residents and non-residents of Villages of Wentworth Heights. I’m looking forward to checking out this restaurant in the near future, I’ll be sure to share some photos!
