The Glenview Neighbourhood is located in East Hamilton and is sometimes referred to as being part of the Rosedale area. The Glenview neighbourhood is located between Queenston Road and Lawrence Road, between the Red Hill Valley and Cochrane Road. Glenview East and Glenview West is divided by Parkdale Avenue South.
The Glenview Neighbourhood is a mostly residential neighbourhood. This neighbourhood exhibits pride of ownership as you drive in the area.
The majority of the homes in this area were build prior to 1960, primarily being single family detached homes. According to the recent census, the typical age range in this neighbourhood divided between 30-44 years old and 55-64 years old, with 35% of the homes containing families. Located near the bottom of the escarpment, the natural beauty of the untouched escarpment is visible from Glenview.
You will find the Viscount Montgomery Elementary School located at 1525 Lucerne Avenue.
You will also find St. Eugene Catholic Elementary School located at 120 Parkdale Ave South. Although not directly in the Glenview Neighbourhood, Glen Brae and Sherwood Secondary School both offer French Immersion for this catchment.

This quiet, mostly residential area is conveniently located with easy access to the Red Hill Valley Parkway and Lincoln Alexander Expressway for easy commuting. Once you are on the Red Hill Valley Parkway, getting to the QEW is a breeze.

A Medical Centre is located on Parkdale Avenue
The Parkdale Avenue Bridge crosses over Lawrence Road. The bridge project was completed with the federal government’s Gas Tax Fund. This fund provides municipalities with funding for public infrastructure projects.
The Red Hill Valley Trail is a seven-kilometre trail connecting both the Waterfront Trail in Confederation Park and the Bruce Trail. It passes through lovely escarpment lands and beautiful natural areas, and is accessible throughout the Glenview Neighbourhoods. The perfect place for dog walkers, nature lovers and joggers.
The city bus is also very accessible for those who do not commute or are looking for a greener way to travel. You can find the HSR schedule here.
